Selection Procedure and Standards: This training group has been created to support established and emerging elite distance runners who are serious and motivated in their efforts to make national teams and become players on the international level. It is a highly select, small group training environment.

This group is NOT an all-comers group or a social club.

Prospective athletes should:

--MEN -- have met the USATF Outdoor Championships ‘B’ standard or better
--WOMEN -- should have met the NCAA Division I Regional standard or better

--be willing to follow an individualized training plan, while training in a cooperative / small group environment. While the group is not designed as specific to one particular event, with the abundant soft surface training opportunities and rolling hills in our training location, ideal candidates should be prepared to follow an aerobic strength / threshold approach to training.
